CARDIO TRAMP
WORKSHOP

This 3-hour workshop is designed for new and experienced instructors who want to confidently integrate the cardio tramp into their classes. Together we’ll explore how to program safe, effective jump sequences that build cardiovascular endurance, coordination, and lower-body strength while remaining low-impact and joint-friendly.

Cardio tramp work is one of the most under-appreciated tools in Pilates. When taught well, it improves cardiovascular health, coordination, and bone strength with minimal strain on the joints. Because the body is supported by the carriage and springs, clients can experience the benefits of jumping without the impact of traditional plyometrics—making it accessible for a wide range of clients, from younger movers to those in their 60s and 70s.

Instructors will learn proper setup, spring choices, alignment cues, and progressions, along with sequencing strategies that keep classes energetic while maintaining strong Pilates principles.

Best for:
• New instructors wanting a clear foundation for teaching cardio tramp
• Experienced instructors looking to expand their programming and class energy

By the end of the session, instructors will leave with practical drills and the confidence to incorporate cardio tramp work safely and effectively into their classes.
